Training Base

the FC Volyn training base

The training base sits in a quiet spot near the forest and the motorway to Lutsk. The distance from the base to the city’s main sports arena is about 20 kilometres. The complex has a natural-turf pitch, a hotel block, a canteen, a sauna and a gym.

Besides serving as a training centre, the base at Dachne once did duty as Volyn’s home ground. In the first Ukrainian Cup of the independence era the opponents refused to play in Lutsk, and the tie was moved here.

The grounds and property of the base have been on the football club’s books since October 2011. A large-scale reconstruction is under way, intended to turn the base into a modern training centre.
